Stawnichy's Mundare Sausage

Serves:

1 - 4 people (depends who gets there first!)

10 - 14 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Stawnichy’s Sausage
  • Billy Joe’s Barbecue Sauce (for basting)

Directions

1. Prepare the Sausage
Using a sharp knife, score the sausage about 1 cm deep in a diagonal pattern. Then repeat in the opposite direction to create a crosshatch effect. Leave one side uncut.

2. Preheat the Grill
Heat your barbecue to 350°F

3. Grill the Sausage

  • Place the sausage on the grill with the uncut side down.
  • Grill for 2–3 minutes, then flip to the scored side.
  • After another 2–3 minutes, flip it back to the uncut side.

4. Baste with Sauce
Generously brush Billy Joe’s Barbecue Sauce onto the scored side of the sausage.
Flip one last time to let the sauce caramelize slightly on the grill.

5. Finish Cooking
Continue cooking for a total of 2–3 minutes per side, or until the edges are crisped and the sausage is heated through.

6. Serve Immediately
Best enjoyed hot, and best grabbed fast—serves up to 4, but possibly just 1.
