Slice bacon strips into 1” slices and saute with chopped onions, add to your Dutch oven.
Drain the sauce sitting on top of each opened can of beans.
Mix the beans into the Dutch oven and add garlic powder and dry mustard
Stir in BILLY-JOE’S BBQ SAUCE.
Cover and place in a preheated oven (or in your covered BBQ) at 350 degrees for 1 ½ - 2 hours. Stir every 15-20 minutes
Beans served great - hot or cold
Billy's Tips:
The more times you cool and reheat these beans the better they get. These beans freeze great, but remember to add a little more Billy-Joe’s BBQ Sauce (or water depending on taste) when you heat them up.
